Stimulus-Funded Youth Employment Program Creates Jobs

The Denver Office of Economic Development has awarded contracts to three community-based organizations to administer the summer Youth Employment Program funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to administer the placement of about 600 at-risk youth with jobs this summer. |

Denver is soliciting public input on the City’s 2010 budget plans. “We want to hear from citizens about their priorities for City services and programs. We encourage everyone to participate with an Online Survey ”, said Mayor John Hickenlooper.
