The Denver County Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) is a federally-funded program that helps eligible low-income families pay for childcare.
Denver Human Services and Aspen Family Services are working together to ensure that qualifying families will have access to CCAP funds.
Eligibility for CCAP is based on income and household size, as well as participation in an eligible activity (working, attending school, or looking for work).
To find out if you are eligible for CCAP funds, you must call the Aspen Family Services intake line at 303-604-1043 x2811. During that phone call, the intake worker will conduct a pre-screening interview to determine if you are eligible for the program. When the interview is completed and it is determined that you are potentially eligible for CCAP funds, you will be sent an application packet by mail and given a scheduled time for the mandatory CCAP orientation. Once the paperwork process is completed, your case can be authorized.
