Eryn Girton - Operations Supervisor
I have worked in law enforcement for over 11 years. I started working for Greeley/Weld County as a Records Technician in 1996. After 2 years, I moved over to dispatch for the same agency. In 1999, I went to work for the Westminster Police/Fire Department as a dispatcher. I started training in 2001, which included training geography, call taking, fire channel, data channel and the primary police channel. I am CIT certified, EMD certified, and have numerous training certificates under my belt.
David MacDonald - Operations Supervisor

I have over 20 years of call center experience including 15 years in management.  I am new to the field of public safety communication and look forward to the challenge of learning this public service.  Before joining the management team at Denver 911 I was responsible for the call center and dispatch operations of a major automobile club in Colorado.  I will rely on my past experiences to help build Denver 911 into one of the premiere emergency communication centers in the country.

I have lived in Colorado since 1978 and graduated from Northglenn High School in 1982.  I attended Metropolitan State College studying Broadcasting and Journalism.   I am married to a beautiful woman and we have two sons.

Natalie Heywood - Operations Supervisor

I became involved in emergency services 24 years ago as a volunteer with my local fire department. I began as a first responder and throughout my 10 year volunteer career I trained to the level of EMT-I and Firefighter I and held the voted position of EMS Division Chief for 2 years. I became employed with ADCOM (Adams County Communications Center) in 1993 as a dispatcher of police, fire and paramedics, which included answering 911 and non-emergency calls. I accepted a position with Denver in 2000 as a police dispatcher and continue to enjoy working with highly skilled individuals at the busiest call center in the state. During my tenure, I have assisted the training department with OJT (on the job training) and participated in the first cross-trained class. I promoted to the position of Operations Supervisor in 2008. I am currently certified as an EMD-Q, CIT, and most recently I tested and was awarded the Emergency Number Professional (ENP) accreditation by the National Emergency Number Association (NENA). After nearly 20 years of call center experience, I continue to enjoy assisting in providing the best customer service possible to the community we serve. The 911 industry is continually changing and I have the utmost respect for the team I work with and their ability to continually adapt to these changes, while still providing outstanding customer service. My position as a supervisor is to support those working on the “front line” and I learn something new every day working with them. I am honored to be a part of such a phenomenal group.

On a personal note, I am the mother of two exceptional children. My daughter earned two Associates Degrees within a year of graduating high school and is currently working as an Emergency Communications Operator while continuing her college education. My son is a junior in high school and has expressed interest in pursuing a career on the fire side of emergency services.

Gina Romero - Operations Supervisor
I have been with Denver 911 for 12 years first as a 911 Operator then to Lead 911 Operator in 2006.  I currently hold the position of 911 Operations Supervisor; I’m excited and optimistic about my new position eager to provide all my emergency communications knowledge, skills and ideas to Denver 911.
Michael Formisano - Operations Supervisor

I moved from New York to Colorado in 2008, and have been with Denver 911 since September, 2009.  Even though this is my first foray into the Public Safety arena, I do bring to Denver 911 15 years of Customer Service Managerial & Supervisory Experience.  I have learned a lot in my 2+ years with Denver 911, and look forward to the new challenges each day brings me.  I currently live in Thornton, CO with my wife and 2 sons.

Merlene Blodgett - Operations Supervisor
I have nine years of local government experience and over 15 years of Supervisor/Manager experience. I was raised in upstate New York and moved to San Antonio Texas nine years ago where I started working in City government. I graduated with a Masters in Business Administration/Public Administration in March of last year. I was pleased when I was offered the job as Operations Supervisor for Denver 911 in October 2009. In my opinion, Denver is the most beautiful city in the country and I am privileged to be a part of the skilled professional team that takes pride in doing their part in public safety.
Jason Davis - Operations Supervisor

I am a Denver resident and graduate of Metropolitan State College with a degree in Criminal Justice.  I began working in the Public Safety field in 2007 after approximately six years working in Community Corrections.  I started at Denver 911 as an Operator, and soon promoted to the position of Police Dispatcher.  With my skills as an operator I was able to work as a Cross-Trained Dispatcher and became a certified Communication Training Officer.  I promoted to the position of Operations Supervisor in the summer of 2010.  I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to work with such a great team, and look forward to helping ensure the safety of our community.

Daniel Kolb - Operations Supervisor

I started my career with the City and County of Denver four years ago at Denver International Airport.  While at the airport, I worked as an Emergency Dispatcher and Call Taker.  Two years later, I transferred downtown to Denver 911 and accepted a position as a Call Taker.  Shortly after that I became a  Dispatcher, and I have since accepted a position as a Supervisor.  I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree from Metro State and am now working on my Master’s Degree.  I feel very fortunate to work with such a great team and am eager to continue experiencing new challenges within this call center.  I have a lot of respect for the quality of work that goes on here and dare anyone to try to find a better group of employees to work with.
