To receive LEAP, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident or be part of a household with a legal resident;
- You must pay heating costs to an energy company or as part of rent; and
- You must meet these income limits:

*Each additional person in the home increases the monthly income limit by $555
It is important to know each home that qualifies can only receive LEAP one time, each season (Nov. 1 - April 30).
