My alley has standing water in it and I’m worried about West Nile Virus. What can I do?
Mosquito larvae, which carry and can spread West Nile when mature, tend to develop in quiet and/or slow moving water. Standing water in alleys tends to get stirred up by traffic, significantly reducing the probability of larvae growth. If you have concerns, contact Animal Control at 303-698-0076.
