Adopting a pet from the Denver Animal Care and Control
*Adoptions begin at 8:00 am Monday through Friday, and Saturdays at 9:00 am. You will need a Drivers license or I.D. with your current address listed on your drivers license or I. D. You can pay either by check, cash, Visa or Mastercard.
If you adopt an animal, it must be spayed or neutered before you can take the pet home.
You would pick the pet up from the spay/neuter clinic (a map will be provided at the time of adoption).

**All dogs are given the distemper and parvo vaccination.
If the dog is spayed or neutered prior to adoption, the fee is only $80.00. The adopter will be responsible for the rabies vaccination, which must be done within 30 days from purchase unless the pet is too young for the vaccination.
