LICENSE A PET ONLINE - An annual license is required for each dog and cat over the age of six months for Denver residents. This small fee offers great peace of mind if your pet is ever lost. The license number is linked to your pet's rabies tag, which can reconnect you with your pet if it is brought into a shelter. Licensing fees go to help the lost, abandoned and abused animals at the Denver Municipal Animal Shelter.

"Poncho" Pet of the Month

Meet Poncho!
This is Poncho, a two (2) year old male Chihuahua.  Poncho has been at the shelter since July 28th, and has not been claimed.  He is a very sweet and energetic, and would make a great companion.  He is in need of a good and permanent home. Meet Sparky,
a four (4) month old female Terrier mix.  Sparky is curious, energetic and friendly. She listens and learns fast. Sparky loves attention and is always trying to please.
