The City and County of Denver has worked with employees to find ways to maintain a strong transit benefit, while maintaining a fiscally responsible program.
2008 VALUPASS INFORMATION:
Enrollment forms must be returned to CSA Benefits by the 1st day of the month in order to receive a pass for the following month. For example, those seeking a May pass would need to submit an enrollment form no later than April 1st.
ENROLLMENT PROVISIONS:
Employees have the option to choose the level of service they desire at the time of enrollment.
The employee cost for the program will be taken directly through a monthly pre-tax payroll deduction.
The ValuPass will be mailed to employees at the end of each month.
Employees may enroll at any time via the ValuPass Enrollment form.
Enrollment is for a 12-month period, and is non-transferable and non-refundable.
Employees must return completed forms to the Career Service Benefits NO LATER than the 1st day of the previous month in order to receive a pass for the first of the following month.

2008 VALUPASS COST:
The costs to employees for the ValuPass program are:
$28 per month for a Local pass, as compared to $54 RTD price
$38 per month for an Express pass, as compared to $99 RTD price and
$55 per month for a Regional pass as compared to $135 RTD price
New this year, senior (age 65+), and disabled individuals are eligible to receive a discounted pass. The monthly rates for a discounted pass are:
- $14 per month for a Local pass
- $19 per month for an Express pass
