This year’s Bike to Work Day will be held on Wednesday, June 27th from 6:30 AM to 9 AM in the Greek Theater of Civic Center Park.  This will be our seventeenth annual Bike to Work Day event!  

 Ride your bike to work and receive free breakfast snacks, free coffee, have some fun and win prizes. Craig Hospital will be bringing 150 bicycle helmets to distribute for free.

 We will also have a short award presentation from the League of American Bicyclists (LAB) as they renew our “Bicycle Friendly Communities” designation. Denver has also been recognized by Bicycling Magazine as a “Top Ten City for Cycling” four times in a row.

Register at drcog.org/btwd2007   Registration is FREE!  Also, RTD is offering two FREE Ride Coupons for a limited time to all Bike to Work Day participants who sign up by June 4, 2007. FREE Ride Coupons can be used on all RTD Local, Limited, Express, Regional, and Light Rail services, with or without your bicycle. Each coupon is also accepted as a credit equal to one Regional fare toward skyRide service to DIA. Bikes on buses are served on a first-come-first-served basis. A special permit is needed to take your bike on Light Rail and is available at rtd-denver.com/LightRail/BikePermit/index.html. Coupons expire August 31, 2007.

Everyone who registers also has a chance to win a prize in the drawing, and you're automatically entered once you register to participate.
