Function: To advise the Director of the Building Department on the establishment of guidelines and compliance with the provisions of the building code pertaining to rehabilitation of older buildings.
Qualifications: At least one of each of the following disciplines with experience in historic preservation: Architecture, Building Contractor Class A or B; Fire protection engineer or degreed code consultant; Historic Preservationist; Real Este, development, or real estate financing; ADA Accessibility Design or Construction; A professional engineer with experieince in lateral stability.
