Function: The committee is responsible for the design and adoption of a plan, establishing payroll deductions which allow city employees, who redirect salary (for example, for transit passes, childcare or medications), to have that money be tax deductible.
Members must be employees of the City and County of Denver. There shall be seven members, appointed by the Mayor, provided however, that at least one member must be an officer or employee of the Department of Environmental Health. At least two of the members shall be participants in the plan or become participants within one year of their appointment.
