Greenprint Denver, the Denver Office of Economic Development and Connected Organizations for a Responsible Economy (CORE) recently launched the new Greener Denver Business program, a collaborative initiative supporting local businesses interested in greening their operations.
Participating businesses in the program have access, FREE of charge, to a series of educational courses on green business related topics including energy efficiency, recycling, and commuter alternatives. In addition, participants are provided with opportunities to network with their peers, and access a wide variety of green business resources through Engage, an online networking forum, and Strategic and Influential Networks, which will provide support for industry-specific initiatives.
Through Greener Denver Business, Denver business leaders can gain direct and simplified access to the wealth of local resources available to support their efforts to reduce costs and increase their competitive edge through green business initiatives. Existing and emerging green business leaders from a variety of industries will be highlighted in regular business profiles, both online and in local media.
