A temporary restaurant license is required when a restaurant plans to participate in a fair or event by way of a temporary booth. Pursuant to city ordinance, if a restaurant is going to participate in a fundraising event for a nonprofit and all of the proceeds are being donated to the nonprofit, the $50 fee for the license will be waived. The applicant must bring in proof that the proceeds are being donated to a nonprofit by way of a letter or some other written document which verifies the name of the nonprofit and that all proceeds are being donated to the nonprofit.
