Denver Mountain Parks
The Chief Hosa Lodge and Campground is located off of I-70, Exit 253, twenty minutes west of Denver. The facility is located within Genesee Park in Denver’s mountain parks at an elevation of 7,700 feet in sight of the Continental Divide. Jacques Benedict, a well-known Denver architect, designed the unique stone masonry lodge.
The Chief Hosa Lodge and Campground is operated by the City and County of Denver Department of Parks and Recreation. Chief Hosa Lodge is recognized on the National Historical Register as a part of the Denver Mountain Parks District. The lodge can accommodate up to 100 guests for events. The Chief Hosa Campground, with 35 RV and 26 tent sites, is near the lodge. The campground is typically open from May 1 through the third week of September. Please call (303) 526-1324 for information about the campground.
