Citizen Surveys

Denver conducted its first survey of citizen perceptions about city services through the National Research Center Inc. in 2002. We have continued this effort in 2003 and plan to conduct the third annual Citizen Survey in the Spring of 2004. The files that are available at the 'Survey Results' link at the left contain reports of the results. The 2003 Report of Results compares citizen perceptions about a wide range of city services to the 2002 results. In addition to this report there are four other reports; Report of Normative Comparisons; Report of Demographic Cross tabulation for Denver; Report of open-ended question; and a Summary Report. These reports contain information on the survey background, understanding the results, comparisons to other jurisdictions, and verbatim responses from citizens.
