My Priorities for Denver
For the past 13 years I have worked as a public servant at the state and local level to build a better home for all residents of the city and state. By working together, the elected officials, government agencies, nonprofit groups, business leaders, community leaders and citizens of our city have made Denver a great place to live. Let's keep moving forward!
I will spend the next four years working on initiatives to improve the wellbeing of the people of Denver. I am referring to these efforts as the Opportunities Program. The Opportunities Program is my way of focusing more attention on the need to invest in better services and opportunities for the people of Denver.
At this point, we have five focus areas:
- Expanding opportunities for kids
- Creating better job opportunities for all residents
- Making neighborhoods safer by providing needed services to minor offenders
- Celebrating Denver’s diversity and global connections
- Enhancing services and opportunities to our aging population
During the next four years we will help create and promote initiatives in each of these five areas. Please contact us with ideas or questions.
