Denver’s Economic Prosperity Task Force
Watch this month's Council Matters Online

How do Denver Citizens survive economic challenges?
The ability of Denver residents to make a decent living is the focus of a task force created by the Mayor and City Council. The ‘Economic Prosperity Task Force’ began its work last spring. This group will take a broad look at strategies, programs, and policies that aim to improve the economic prosperity of Denver residents.
What did the Economic Prosperity Task Force Do?
During the past year the Task Force discussed several topics pertaining to the economic prosperity of Denver residents including: (vo) self-sufficiency, economic mobility and sustainability, entrepreneurialism, special needs populations, and community-rich outcomes. For each of these broad issues they examined the various tools used by the city and other agencies that affect the economic well being of our citizens.
Then the Task Force explored effective ways of utilizing these tools, examined and discussed innovative and unique approaches found elsewhere in the country.
