What factors contribute to the ‘Quality of Life' in Denver?Quality of Life
A diverse business economy…top ranked educational institutions…vibrant cultural and recreational opportunities are some of the more obvious things that can be mentioned as contributing to Denver’s quality of life. But there are numerous challenges to that quality of life as well as significant opportunities for its improvement.

Host Beverly Weaver and City Councilwoman-at-Large Carol Boigon, and District 3 Councilwoman Rosemary Rodriguez examine the most obvious challenge…graffiti in Denver. The panel also discusses a quality of live improvement for Denver…early childhood care and education. What’s being done to care for and educate our kids in the early stages of their lives.

What can City Council and you do to control, prevent and even report graffiti in Denver?Graffiti
Sometimes is seems that graffiti is everywhere in Denver. Why do we care, and what is the impact that it has on our neighborhoods and businesses both short and long term. City Council has taken some steps to control the sale of items used in tagging, but is enough being done and what else can the Council do to control or intervene in the problem.

CMCitizens can do their part by reporting graffiti at DenverGov.
There you can also find ways residents can discourage tagging and remove damage to their property.

A society is judged by how it cares for its children.Childhood Care
What is being done to care for and educate Denver’s kids? Why did City Council recently take a comprehensive look at the way the City’s zoning code treats child care centers? How does attention to early childhood care and education issues affect young people, and society as a whole?
