County Court
Bonding Office
About Us
The main function of the County Court Bonding Office is to write appearance bonds for defendants who are incarcerated in the Denver Police Department's Pre-Arraignment Detention Facility (PADF) or at the Denver County Jail. Defendants who are not incarcerated may also come in to post bonds for any outstanding Denver warrants they may have, once they have obtained bonding information from the issuing division.
More Info
Bonds can be posted using cash, Visa, MasterCard, certified funds, property, or through a professional bonding agent.
Note: when coming to the Bonding Office to post bond, a defendant will be expected to post the entire bond amount (see
Bonding Schedule), and may also be assessed one or more of the following fees:
$30 Bond fee per bond posted (excludes Personal Recognizance bonds)
$30 Inmate Processing Fee per booking into the Detention Center
$30 per Outstanding Judgment Warrant (OJW)
Bonds will not be posted unless bond and fees are paid in full.
Credit cards (VISA/MC) are accepted as a form of payment for posting a bond, as long as the owner of the credit card provides a valid form of ID at the time the bond is posted.
