About Us
The Traffic Division adjudicates cases involving Colorado Revised Statutes and the Denver Revised Municipal Code violations pertaining to motor vehicles. Some of the charges handled by the Traffic Division include no proof of insurance, no operators license, and speeding. The Traffic Division operates from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Daytime courts are staffed by judges. All evening courtrooms are staffed by Magistrates. If a defendant does not wish to consent to a Magistrate, they may be scheduled to a day court and appear in front of a Judge.
