My Fellow Denver City Employees,
It is an honor for me to serve as campaign chair of this year’s Denver Employees’ Combined Campaign.
Each year you are asked to look into your hearts and make donations that will contribute to change. The Denver Employees’ Combined Campaign (DECC) is your opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to change, for a better and improved community. By participating in the campaign you are performing random acts of kindness for individuals you know, as well as those you may never know. You help by ensuring a better, safer, healthier and cleaner place to live, work and play.
Our voluntary contributions to this year’s campaign will help feed and clothe those in need; provide counseling for troubled families; offer scholarships to educate our young people; assist medical professionals searching for the means to treat and cure diseases, as well as support a variety of other much needed services.
Why should you continue or perhaps start to give to the DECC? There are several reasons, because it is the only charitable campaign:
• endorsed and conducted by Denver city employees with low administrative costs,
• that allows YOU to select where your money goes and supports the organizations and causes that mean the most to you,
• that allows you to make your contribution through an easy payroll deduction plan.
The need for programs and services continues to exist and with your help, we hope to surpass last year's goal. This is a great challenge, but we can and must do it! Last year, the DECC raised nearly $564,000 to fund over 400 local charitable organizations.
Please join us and thousands of other city workers by making a generous contribution to the charitable organization of your choice, today.
Sincerely,

Kevin Patterson
Manager, General Services
