Demonstration of Competence for Supervision, or the DOCS program, is designed for current City employees who are interested in promotion to supervisory positions and offers an opportunity to demonstrate competence for supervision through work-related activities. Successful completion of DOCS is recognized as equivalent to passing the first line supervisor test. A pilot DOCS program in Parks and Recreation has recently been concluded and Career Service Authority is now ready to expand the training program to all City employees.
