Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Many drivers will be tempted to break the law and be “PUFFERS” (puffer n. an automobile left unattended and running in cold weather).
