Mother Nature Can Delay Graffiti Removal
Frigid temperatures can delay the graffiti removal process when temperatures dip below freezing (32 degrees). Paint dries very slowly in cold weather, especially when it’s humid, or the area to be painted is located in the shade. Cold weather can also hinder the paint from bonding to the surface, which can lead to peeling.

Cold weather is not ideal for power washing either. Power washing is a method used to remove graffiti from stone, concrete or brick surfaces. Chemicals used in power washing do not work well in cold weather, the hoses on the equipment can freeze and break, and the water used can freeze and create a safety hazard.
Denver Partners Against Graffiti makes every effort to remove graffiti as soon possible, however Mother Nature can delay our ability to remove graffiti.
