May 28, 2015

Denver, May 28, 2015 – The City and County of Denver has again been given a AAA rating from Standard and Poor’s (S&P), Fitch’s, and Moody’s for its long term general obligation bonds. The three ratings agencies gave Denver a AA+/Stable rating for their 2015A certificates of participation, a type of financing that allows cities to make lease payments to investors in order to finance certain capital projects.

Real property notices of value for 2015 were mailed to property owners on or before May 1 and included the assigned value and classification of the property as of June 30, 2014 per statutory guidelines.
