Help ensure that all Colorado students receive a quality arts education. On Saturday, April 17th, parents, teachers, administrators, artists, elected officials, concerned community members and cultural partners from schools and districts across Colorado will gather for a FREE one-day Colorado Arts Education Summit, hosted by the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs and Colorado Council on the Arts.
The Summit offers a way for individuals to come together, form local school or district teams (four or more individuals working together to advocate for arts education), share ideas and resources, build skills and develop tangible action steps to improve arts education at their schools. More information will be available soon on the free workshops and presentations, childcare & kids art workshop, resource materials and the opportunity for your school to receive a $500 mini-grant.
