The Clerk and Recorder's Office serves a number of important functions for the City and County of Denver including:

    We have launched a new state-of-the-art records and recording system. Use the button above to search for recorded documents online.
  • We Now Take Credit Cards!
    Want to pay by credit card for Clerk and Recorder services? No problem! We are pleased to announce we now accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards for Records, Recording, Marriage and Civil Union Licensing, and Public Trustee. 
  • Clerk and Recorder Adoption of Fees
    Clerk and Recorder Debra Johnson has adopted a uniform set of fees for services. These fees were adopted effective September 17, 2013, following notification, a comment period and a public hearing that was conducted on July 9, 2013. The final list of fees may be viewed here. The notices and fee schedule may also be viewed in the Office of the Clerk and Recorder. The fee schedule will be reviewed annually at the end of each calendar year.
  • Marriage and Civil Union Stats Available
    We are now posting our monthly marriage license stats and civil union license stats online. Marriages in Denver are up this year!
