What is happening in Civic Center Park?
Civic Center Park located in the heart of downtown is under going an extensive renovation, thanks to the voters of Denver and the Better Denver Bond Program. This $4.4 million project, with the completion scheduled for mid-June 2010, includes restoring the Greek Amphitheater, Voorhies Memorial and historic balustrade.

DRAFT Dog Park Master Plan and Policy Recommendations
The City of Denver Department of Parks & Recreation is looking for public feedback and comment on the draft recommendations developed by the committees and the department. Click on button below to see the materials presented at the public open house meetings.

US OpenAir proposes to host it's first season in Civic Center Park
A US based company, US OpenAir has personnel experienced in organizing international OpenAir Cinema events. This will be the first OpenAir Cinema in the United States.

Ruby Hill Rail Yard IS OPEN!
Ruby Hill Rail yard is open with 12-18 inches of snow. The Rail Yard is FREE and open 5:00am to 11:00pm and lighted in the evenings from 5:00pm - 9:00pm.

New Denver Mountain Parks guide is available

The Adventurer’s Guidebook to Denver Mountain Parks provides information on key parks, indicates recreational opportunities – including road biking, backcountry hiking, scenic viewing and fishing -- for each of them and includes a brief history of the Denver Mountain Park system. The guidebook also features original artwork by Roger Beerworth designed specifically to capture the historical significance of the Denver park system.
