General Statement of Work
The Work contemplated here under shall generally consist of all work, including labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete, as yet to be determined, resetting existing traffic signs or furnish and install new traffic signs located within the City and County of Denver (the “Projects”).  The contractor shall, complete with posts, supports, fittings and concrete bases (where required) in accordance with the City and County of Denver Traffic Standard Drawings as well as the State of Colorado Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction 2011 edition (Green Book). The dimensions, details and locations of work will be provided in individual work orders as assigned. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required permits and appropriate traffic control. Right-of-way permit fees will be waived by the City and County of Denver. Traffic control is not considered incidental to the work and will be paid for separately, as defined and approved in the individual Work Order provided by the Engineer or Project Manager. Signage, as shown in the Denver Sign Manual, shall meet the requirements of the latest edition of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), and shall conform to the details in the Standard Highway signs manual published by the FHWA, U.S. Department of Transportation. The selected contractor shall have all necessary resources available, on an as needed basis, to complete each such Project when directed by the Division during the three (3) year term of the contract, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the On Call Contract Documents.
