Welcome to the Denver Animal Shelter

The shelter is home to more than 100 lost and adoptable puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles and other small animals. Click here for our hours and location.

When visiting our shelter in search of your lost pet and you do not see your pet, please ask our front office staff for assistance to determine if your pet is in a location not accessible to the public. The front office staff can view pictures of all animals in the shelter to include animals in our quarantine area that is off limits to the public.
