Affordable Housing Public Meeting - Tuesday July 15

Affordable Housing Public Meeting - Tuesday July 15

AFFORDABLE HOUSING PUBLIC MEETING:
Join Councilwoman Robin Kniech to Discuss Revisions to
DENVER’S INCLUSIONARY HOUSING POLICY

Homeownership can help families build wealth, create stable and diverse communities, and is associated with higher educational achievement.

Programs like Denver’s Inclusionary Housing Ordinance (IHO) balance affordability with wealth creation, and help working families overcome barriers to homeownership. The IHO requires medium-large for sale housing developments to make 10% of their homes affordable to moderate-income families earning between $42,950 and $61,350 annually (family of 1 to 4).

Meeting Agenda:
1) Presentation on final proposed ordinance revisions
2) Public feedback
3) Other housing resources available before/after the program
