DENVER PARKS AND RECREATION TO HOST NUMEROUS
PUBLIC MEETINGS REGARDING RECREATION CENTER SERVICES

Denver, CO – Denver residents are invited to help shape the future of recreation centers in the City by bringing their ideas and suggestions to a series of public meetings in July, August and September.

Denver Parks and Recreation, the National Civic League and GreenPlay LLC are sponsoring the meetings at rec centers throughout the City to gather community input into a long-term strategic plan for the City’s rec centers.

The National Civic League will conduct, facilitate and co-host a series of community outreach meetings along with GreenPlay LLC and Denver Parks and Recreation that will offer the opportunity for the community to provide input into the development into a long term strategic plan that addresses the "Future of Recreation Centers" in Denver.

A pair of public meetings will be held in each of eight communities The National Civic League will facilitate the discussions, which will focus on how Parks and Recreation collaborates with its community partners to provide programs and services that support residents of all ages.

Please note that Spanish- speaking translators will be present at all meetings.
