RTD SERVICE DURING THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

An event of this magnitude requires significant travel restrictions in the interest of national security. RTD has worked closely with DNC planners and law enforcement personnel to develop a service delivery plan that meets security needs and causes the least possible disruption to our passengers.

The information listed is based on the most up to date information available at the time. Keep in mind that changes in RTD’s service deli-very during the week of the DNC may be impacted by a variety of circumstances beyond RTD’s control. Your best source for up-to-the-minute service information will be through this website, local television and radio stations or the RTD Telephone Information Center at 303.299.6000.

LIGHT RAIL
These service disruptions will be in effect from midnight Sunday, August 24 through midnight Wednesday, August 27.

C and E Lines
• The last northbound stop on these lines will be the Invesco Field at Mile High Station.
No boarding or alighting will be permitted at the Pepsi Center/Elitch Gardens Station or at Union Station.
• No bus service will be available from the Invesco Field at Mile High Station to downtown Denver.
• For travel to downtown Denver, transfers should be made to the D, F or H Lines at I-25/Broadway, Alameda, 10th/Osage or any other convenient station.

D, F and H Lines
• RTD has not been informed of any anticipated disruptions on these lines serving the Denver central business district.

BUS

Bus service disruptions are expected as a result of street closures, which are expected to be for various periods of time during the week. We expect that there will be other service disruptions which will not be known until the week of the convention. The detours listed below are based on the information available at the time of this printing. The map on the reverse side of this brochure may assist you in following the path of the detours.
