Experts to Discuss Practical Ways our Nation Can End Homelessness
WHAT: Homeless Awareness Breakfast, a forum of policy leaders discussing a range of issues including: family homelessness; veterans; youth; ten year plans to end homelessness; the roles of foundations, local government and the private sector in ending homelessness; supportive housing; Housing First and legal strategies. The focus will be on proven, practical solutions that can reduce the number of homeless people in our nation.

Breakfast to be hosted by Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and sponsored by America’s Road Home in partnership with the Melville Charitable Trust and the National Alliance to End Homelessness. A select group of national experts and leaders will facilitate small group discussions. They include:

Denver’s Road Home is the community’s comprehensive ten-year plan to end homelessness. Founded in 2005, Denver’s Road Home has reduced chronic homelessness by 36% by providing housing and services for the city’s homeless men, women and children.
