  Colfax Design Guidelines Review Wednesday, November 25, 2009 | 38.0° Partly Cloudy

SEPTEMBER 28, 2006 -- The City and County of Denver Public Works Department recently released the Draft Colfax Street Design Guidelines. Public Works in now in the midst of a public process that reviews and collects input on the proposal. The Guidelines have been distributed to neighborhood groups, City agencies, CDOT, and local districts along Colfax Ave. The purpose of the Colfax Street Design Guidelines is to evaluate current conditions within the right-of-way and make recommendations for future improvements.

A new, fourth meeting is now added to the series of meetings that began in September.  Each meeting focuses primarily on a particular portion of the corridor, however staff will be prepared to discuss and answer questions about other areas along the corridor as well.  The fourth meeting is scheduled for:

Wednesday, October 4th
5:30pm - 7:00pm
East Montclair Community Center, 6740 E. Colfax


With the addition of this latest meeting the Comment Deadline has been extended to Friday, October 27, 2006

Additional copies of the draft can be accessed and printed from the Public Works web page at:www.DenverGov.org/Infrastructure and by selecting “Colfax Design Guidelines” from the Projects in Process menu. There will also be a form on the website for the public to submit comments electronically.

In addition, the Department presented at the City Council Public Works Committee on Wednesday, September 13. This presentation can be viewed  as a streamed video on-demand, anytime, at your convenience on the Internet at the Denver 8 Online web site.
