Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. For Families Earning Less than $40,000
 
The Denver Asset Building Coalition (DABC) will help hard-working low-income families with their tax return preparation. This assistance will claim tax refunds from the Earned Income Tax Credit. A Tax SuperSite at
2980 Curtis St. will be open January 26 through April 15. with Saturday hours each weekend.
 
Additional hours are also on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 pm - 8 pm.
 
When seeking assistance at a free tax preparation location, individuals should bring the following: Social Security number cards or ITIN cards for all family members; all W-2, 1099 and/or other income forms; information for all deductions and credits if available; bank account and routing number, if seeking a direct deposit; your spouse, if filing jointly; a copy of last year’s tax return if available.
