Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will also be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Joining Denver's civic leadership is the first-ever elected City Clerk, and three new City Council members. The highlight of the ceremony, held at the Denver Arts Complex's Buell Theatre, was the Mayor's Inaugural Address setting out the framework for challenging Denver residents to make a commitment to keeping Denver a national model of urban renaissance.
