On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will also be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Citizen Oversight Board Holds First Meeting of 2007
Public Safety Group Let Residents Raise Questions and Concerns
 
January 23, 2007 - The Citizen Oversight Board (COB) holds its first meeting of 2007 in Northeast Denver on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. The meeting will be at Hiawatha Davis Recreation Center located at 3334 Holly St. (on Holly just north of MLK Blvd).  Each session of the COB moves to a different police district so that all communities have a convenient opportunity to participate.
Mayor Appoints New Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs
Jan Brennan to Brings Strong Mix of Skills
 
January 24, 2007 - Mayor John Hickenlooper is pleased to announce that Jan Brennan, formerly of Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA), has been appointed Deputy Director of the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs.  
 
“I’m thrilled with the mix of skills that Jan brings to our team,” said Erin Trapp, Director of the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs.  “Her strong background in the non-profit and arts sectors means that she can seamlessly step in and help us fulfill our mission to advance the arts and culture in Denver.”
