On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will also be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. SHAPE FUTURE CITY SNOW RESPONSE
City Council “Virtual Town Meeting” invites suggestions for snow operations plan
 
Councilwoman Marcia Johnson, Chair of the Denver City Council Public Works Committee, has announced the launch of a “Virtual Town Meeting” on improvements to the City’s snow operations plan.

A special email box has been created to receive suggestions. Anyone can share ideas with City Council, Mayor Hickenlooper, and the Public Works Department by emailing to SnowGo!@ci.denver.co.us. Submit by May 11.
JUSTICE CENTER MINI-BONDS SET RECORD
More than $8.8 million in sales smashes previous record
 
Colorado residents overwhelmingly embraced the 2007 Denver Justice Center mini-bond program, purchasing over $8.8 million in mini-bonds in just five days and more than doubling Denver’s previous single mini-bond issue record of $4.1 million in 1990.
 
Purchasers of the 2007 Denver mini-bonds will begin receiving their bond certificates the week of April 23.
