On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. YOUTH CURFEW CATCHES ATTENTION
Intensified Citywide Curfew Enforcement all Summer

Denver’s Curfew Ordinance requires that youth 17 years of age and younger must be off the street on Friday and Saturday nights before midnight from 12:01 a.m. through 5:00 a.m., and Sunday through Thursday nights, between 11:01 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.  Youth can be cited with a municipal violation for violating the curfew ordinance while parent(s) or legal guardian(s) can be cited for allowing youth to violate the ordinance. Reducing any possible threat of violence against youth is the goal of the curfew program.

Denver Leads the Nation for Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial
$32,619.88 Collected in “Me Too for Two” Challenge

Mayor John Hickenlooper and leaders of The Denver Foundation proudly announced today that metro Denver residents continued Denver’s long history of honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by becoming the first metropolitan area to collectively donate to the Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial.
