Denver Opens New Workforce Training Center
 New Flagship Training Center Benefits Job Seekers and Employers
 
To further assist job seekers with the skills and training needed to succeed in today’s workforce, the Denver Office of Economic Development proudly opens a new flagship training center at 1391 N. Speer Blvd., Suite 510.

The new center is the largest training facility offered through Denver’s system of five workforce development and training centers. Equipped with three classrooms and a lab area, the center is projected to serve approximately 500 residents monthly. All classes are available for free to Denver residents.
Denver Officials Launch New Community Development Financial Institution
Public-Private Financing Entity will Support Affordable Housing, Revitalization, Small Business Growth, and Asset-Building
 
Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper, City Council President Michael Hancock, City Councilman Rick Garcia, City Councilman Doug Linkhart and City economic development officials announced today the launch of a new, private, nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI) which will work closely with the City on community economic development, including neighborhood commercial revitalization, affordable housing and small business expansion.
