Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Top Headlines Monday, November 23, 2009 | 33.0° Partly Cloudy DOWNTOWN PLAN SEEKS INPUT Shape the Future of Downtown Denver   The Downtown Denver Partnership and Denver Civic Ventures are working in partnership with the City and County of Denver to produce the Denver Downtown Area Plan. The Plan will reflect the community vision for a livable, healthy, economically vibrant and exciting Downtown.  The groups invite you to review the the Downtown Area Final Draft Plan  and leave your comments about the work done so far. PUBLIC MEETINGS on CITY INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS    Task Force Calls on Community for Review of Priorities Mayor Hickenlooper and a large group of community volunteers have taken on the formidable task of identifying city infrastructure improvements as well as maintenance needs.  Over the past 6 months community and neighborhood groups along with individual residents have given valuable feedback. The challenge now is to refine the list of projects into a final draft of priorities.
