Thursday, Nov. 26 - City and County of Denver offices will be closed for the day in observance of Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27, most City and County offices will aslo be closed as Employees are taking a furlough day to help the City create budget savings during these challenging economic times. Top Headlines Tuesday, November 24, 2009 | 44.0° A Few Clouds ELECTION 2007 November 6, 2007 will be the next election in Denver.    This is a coordinated School Election that contains several types of ballot items. In addition to candidates for seats on the Denver Public Schools Board, the City of Denver will have Bond Issues relating to city infrastructure and there will be a citizen generated initiated ordinance.   The election is a mail ballot election. Active voters will have their ballots automatically delivered by mail in mid-October.  Ballots can be returned by mail or dropped-off at numerous locations around the city.  Voters can review the ballot here  Details of individual bond and mill levy questions can be reviewed from the ordinances here at the Council website or you can download a printable version.
