Denver to host largest Veterans Day Celebration in its history

The City and County of Denver, Auraria Campus, Denver United Veterans Council, Metropolitan State University of Denver Army ROTC and Colorado Tribute to Veterans are excited to host the United Launch Alliance “Run, Rejoice and Remember,” one of the largest and most diverse Veterans Day celebrations in the history of the city.  There will be several family-friendly events happening all day throughout downtown Denver to celebrate, honor and recognize our city and nation’s veterans. 

The celebration, presented by United Launch Alliance, includes a Veterans Day 5K race, parade, festival, honor roll reading and evening celebration.

    Denver Veterans Day Parade, Pepsi Center to Civic Center Park at 10 a.m.
    Honor Roll Reading, Colorado Veterans Monument (Broadway & Lincoln near Colfax) following parade
    Denver Veterans Day Festival, Civic Center Park at noon
    Denver Veterans Day Celebration, Auraria from 3 – 7 p.m.        
                      
  •  WHEN: Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
