Denver Partners Against Graffiti
Denver Partners Against Graffiti (DPAG) provides graffiti removal assistance on business and residential properties within the City & County of Denver using current graffiti removal methods and equipment; painting over the graffiti, hand cleaning or power washing the surface.
The city must have a signed authorization form to remove graffiti from private property and in most cases there is no charge for this assistance. Authorization forms can be downloaded from the homepage under “Forms”. Once a signed authorization form is received the graffiti can be removed anytime it is reported.
DPAG also offers free graffiti removal supplies through the “Paint Bank.” Citizens can pick up supplies to remove graffiti from their property. Arrangements to pick up the supplies must be made in advance by calling the Graffiti Hotline 720-865-STOP (7867). Available supplies include paint in 6- standard colors; graffiti wipes to remove graffiti from traffic control boxes, poles, and signs; and dumpster paint to cover graffiti on city-owned trash receptacles(dumpsters).
Denver Partners Against Graffiti also offers assistance in organizing a community cleanup.
The Graffiti Hotline enables citizens to report graffiti on anything in Denver by calling just one number. Graffiti can be reported on anything from newspaper boxes to graffiti seen on the Interstate.
Once reported:
• City crews remove graffiti from business, residential and public property.
• The City refers other locations to the responsible property owner as they are responsible for maintaining their own property.
