 Air Inspections Minimize

The Stationary Air Sources program conducts inspection and enforcement activities to ensure compliance with and enforcement of regulations for stationary air sources of pollution in Denver.  The program is organized into program areas focused on stationary sources and the use of ozone-depleting compounds (chlorofluorocarbons).   Where possible, the EC&M section also provides compliance assistance and pollution prevention guidance to regulated as well as non-regulated businesses in Denver.

Stationary sources may include businesses that conduct painting, sandblasting, chrome plating, sand and gravel operations, and energy production to name just a few.  The chlorofluorocarbon or CFC program includes inspection of facilities that operate of repair equipment that contains regulated refrigerants.
