In general:

• Primary elections are held on the second Tuesday of August in each even-numbered year.
• General elections (even years) are held on the Tuesday succeeding the first Monday of November in each year.
• Coordinated elections (odd years) are held on the first Tuesday in November in odd-numbered years.
• General Municipal elections to elect city-wide officials are held every 4 years on the first Tuesday in May.
• Runoff elections, typically held by necessity following a General Municipal election, are held on the first Tuesday in June.
