 Child/Youth Friendly Cities Minimize
The Child Youth Friendly City Initiative (CFCI) is a global initiative sponsored by UNICEF aimed at changing the situation of children and youth throughout the world through working with local governments to translate the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child ideals into concrete actions for children. It focuses on the environmental conditions, physical and social, to fulfill needs of children and youth in urban settings for safe, secure and healthy living conditions. It recognizes that children are citizens who have rights and the capacity for improving their own lives and the communities in which they live.
