Tips for being a superstar Wellness Champion!

  • Promote using healthy snacks like fruit, nuts, and whole wheat baked goods at meetings and agency celebrations
  • Encourage your co-worker when they make a healthy effort-- offer to be a work out buddy, congratulate them on their successes
  • If you notice your colleague hasn't moved from their seat for hours, ask them if they would like to take a break together-- fill up your water bottle, look out a window, walk around a bit.

Wellness Champions represent their agencies at quarterly meetings with the wellness staff. They give us recommendations, suggestions and input about how our programs are doing. If you would like to become a wellness champion for your agency, please send us an email at

Kaiser Permanente Members go to this website. Sign in with your normal KP username and password to see what screenings you need to do.   As you complete your screenings you will see big green check marks, letting you know you are done! Don't forget to take the Total Health Assessment!



 United Healthcare Members print this form and have your doctor fill out as you complete your screenings. Go to this website to take your Health Risk Assessment and make sure that UCH received the form from your doctor.

Once you have completed the requirements, Denver Wellness will send you a congratulatory email, letting you know that you are finished!

Complete these steps by October 31st, 2014 and get your $240!!

If you do not have insurance through the City, you are not eligible for the $240 incentive this year. You must be employed by the City in December, when the incentives are disbursed, in order to receive the incentive.
