Climate Action Plan Community Input Sessions

The Climate Action Plan is a set of strategies intended to guide efforts for reducing climate altering greenhouse gas emissions. Environmental Quality is in the process of updating Denver's original plan from 2007, and is requesting community input.

Two input sessions will be held in different parts of the City for resident and neighborhood organizations. A session will also be held specifically for Denver's non-profit organizations.

  • July 12th, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
    Montclair Rec Center, 729 Ulster St
    Denver residents and Registered Neighborhood Organizations should attend
    Food will be provided
  • July 15th, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
    Barnum Rec Center, 360 Hooker St
    Denver residents and Registered Neighborhood Organizations should attend
    Food will be provided
  • July 17th, Noon - 2 p.m.
    Denver Animal Care and Control, 1241 W. Bayaud Ave
    Non-profit Organizations should attend
    Food will be provided, but please only one representative for each non-profit

Why Attend?

  • Help Denver to, again, be a leader in taking action towards a healthy and vibrant community and planet
  • Provide comments on Denver's short-term strategies currently in place to meet our 2020 targets
  • Provide input and suggestions for medium and long-term strategies to meet our 2030-2050 targets
